Common questions
“You were away too long” ended my match
A live match keeps your seat for 30 seconds after you leave the app or lock the phone. Come back within that and you rejoin the same game where it is; stay away longer and the match carries on without you. Solo and Daily never do this — they wait for you.
Today’s averages show a dash instead of numbers
The Daily words themselves work offline, but the averages come from everyone else’s results, so they need a connection. They fill in once you are back online and open the game again.
Changing your name
Open Settings (the gear) and pick a new one. Names are unique, so a taken one comes back with a free suggestion.
Deleting your data
DELETE MY DATA in Settings removes everything we hold under your device’s install id, immediately. The privacy policy lists exactly what that is.
Ads
Jarble is free and shows ads from Google. Where the law requires it, the app asked how you would like them handled on first launch, and the game plays the same either way.
